1 Corinthians 15:20-23

Because Christ lives, we have hope for life after our physical death.  God did us a favor whe He moved the tree of life from man's presence.  But now we are subject to eternal death.  But Christ came to be the firstfruit of resurrection.  He paved the way for us to be the second fruit and now we have hope of eternal life.  Because He lives, we will live.  The first Adam brought us death, but the second Adam (Jesus) brought us life.
